Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our radiology team. This role performs diagnostic computed tomography examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, delivering high-quality images and compassionate patient care across all ages from neonates to geriatrics.

Candidates should have completed an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited training, with ARRT registration and BCLS certification upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic Computed Tomography examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups from neonatal to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
