Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic computed tomography scans under the supervision of a Radiologist, delivering high-quality images for patient care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations, and maintain compliance with safety standards. ARRT registration and BCLS are required at hire; 6 months radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Minimum 6 months experience as Radiological Technologist.
• ARRT registration and BCLS certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups (neonatal to geriatric) in the CT suite.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
