Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will provide patient care across all age groups and adhere to prescribed standards and safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has 6 months of radiology experience, ARRT registration, and BCLS certification, with a commitment to delivering high-quality imaging and exceptional patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the ARRT (R) Upon Hire Required
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography (CT) examinations performed under direct supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, following prescribed standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications
