Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. responsibilities include patient preparation, image acquisition, and ensuring adherence to safety standards across all age groups.

The ideal candidate has completed an AMA/JRCERT accredited Radiologic Technology program, possess ARRT licensure, and has at least 6 months of radiologic technologist experience. BCLS certification is also required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program required.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist required.
• ARRT registration required upon hire; BCLS required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Use ionizing radiation to perform CT examinations following prescribed standards under the supervising Radiologist.
• Conduct diagnostic CT studies and ensure patient safety and comfort across all ages.
• Provide patient care from neonatal to geriatric populations during CT procedures.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
