Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will care for patients across all ages and uphold safety and accuracy in imaging.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
  • 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
  • ARRT registration upon hire required.
  • BCLS certification upon hire required.

Responsibilities

  • Compute Tomography (CT) examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care to all age groups including neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications
Education
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required
Work Experience
  • 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
  • BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
