Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Radiology team. You will perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, delivering high-quality imaging across diverse patient groups.

Required are ARRT registration and BCLS, plus 6 months of Radiologic Technologist experience; AMA/JRCERT education is required to ensure expertise and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
• ARRT registration and BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups from neonatal to geriatric.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required
