Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist, delivering high-quality images for patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

The role involves preparing patients, maintaining safety standards, and operating CT equipment in a hospital setting. ARRT registration and BCLS certification are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
• ARRT Registration and BCLS certification Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist.
• Provide patient care to all age groups, from neonatal to geriatrics.
• Follow prescribed standards to ensure safe and accurate imaging.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications
