Job summary

Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah is seeking Radiologic Technologists who want to train into CT or experienced CT Technologists to join the Imaging team. The role offers a clear pathway, learning opportunities, and mentorship in a high‑acuity environment.

Remote not applicable; this is an on-site position with 40 hours per week. The program emphasizes growth, safety, and hands‑on CT experience as you advance to a registered CT Technologist role.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including assistance with contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust as needed for diagnostic-quality images.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance; report equipment concerns.
• Adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, size, and condition.
• Support department operations, including inventory management and quality initiatives.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Document all required records, including time stamps and image storage.
