Job summary

Intermountain Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist in training or CT Technologist at Intermountain Medical Center, Murray, UT. You will join a high‑acuity imaging team and pursue a structured CT pathway, gaining hands-on experience to advance into a CT role.

Qualifications

• Formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved program.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and CT registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately with strong anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams per department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust for diagnostic-quality results.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance; report concerns.
• Adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, size, and condition.
• Support department operations including inventory management and quality improvement.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Complete documentation with accurate time stamps and image storage.
• Pursue continued learning and advancement in CT.
