Job summary

Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah is offering a Radiologic Technologist in Training (CT) path or a fully trained CT Technologist role within the Imaging team. The program provides on‑the‑job CT training, pairing you with experienced CT professionals to build clinical confidence and technical expertise.

This role includes a clear CT pathway, fast-paced, high‑acuity imaging environment, and opportunities for growth; a $5,000 sign‑on bonus is available for eligible certified applicants

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and eligibility to sit for the applicable CT registry.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust to ensure diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration, and report concerns.
• Support department operations including inventory management and quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Complete all required documentation with time stamps and image storage.
• Pursue continued learning and new CT procedures.

Education

Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school
