Intermountain Health is hiring a Radiologic Technologist in training to advance into a CT Technologist role at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, UT. Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and CT registry eligibility

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust to ensure diagnostic quality.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning, calibration, and maintenance; report equipment concerns.
• Adapt imaging techniques based on patient age, size, and condition.
• Support department operations, including inventory, quality improvement, and maintaining clean workspaces.
• Maintain radiation safety and infection prevention standards.
• Follow policies related to documentation, consents, medical necessity, and coding/charging.
• Pursue continued learning and new CT procedures.
• Accurately complete all required documentation including time stamps and image storage

ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program

State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License
