Job summary

Intermountain Health at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, is hiring a Radiologic Technologist who will train into CT within a structured pathway. You will work in a high-acuity imaging environment and gain hands-on CT experience while advancing your ultrasound capabilities and radiologic skills.

This role supports a clear transition from Radiology Tech to CT Tech, with mentorship from experienced CT staff, and opportunities to obtain the CT registry within the first year.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT‑approved program.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers is required.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License and ARRT Radiography certification with CT registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams and assist with contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality and adjust as needed for diagnostic accuracy.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, calibration, and report issues.
• Support department operations, including inventory and quality improvement initiatives.
