Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Current State of Utah Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Radiography certification and CT registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology knowledge.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust for diagnostic-quality images.
• Maintain equipment, calibration, and report issues; keep workspace clean and organized.
• Support department operations including inventory management and quality improvement initiatives.
