Qualifications

• Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an ARRT-approved school.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Current Utah Radiologic Technologist License; ARRT Radiography certification and CT registry eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity and imaging orders; prepare patients for exams, including contrast administration.
• Position patients accurately using anatomy and physiology.
• Perform CT exams following department protocols and transmit data for radiologist interpretation.
• Evaluate image quality in real time and adjust for diagnostic quality.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment and report issues.
• Support department operations including inventory management and quality improvement.
