Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital in Newnan, GA is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role requires ARRT CT certification, ARRT CT Advanced, and BCLS, with at least 1 year of CT experience.

The CT Technologist will provide care for patients of all ages and perform advanced cardiac and vascular CT imaging, ensuring adherence to prescribed standards and high-quality imaging practices.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program (Required)
• Work Experience: 1 year of CT experience (Required)
• Licenses and Certifications: ARRT CT certification; ARRT CT Advanced certification; BCLS (All Upon Hire Required)

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct guidance of the Radiologist.
• Provide advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and cross-sectional anatomy proficiency.
• Deliver patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Overview

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
