Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under radiologist supervision and ensure patient safety and comfort across all age groups. You will operate CT equipment and provide high-quality imaging in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The ideal candidate has AMA/JRCERT credentials, ARRT registration, BCLS, and 6 months of radiologic technologist experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by ARRT (R) Upon Hire Required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
