Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist. The technician will provide patient care across neonatal to geriatric populations and adhere to prescribed standards for image quality and safety.

Qualifications include graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, ARRT registration upon hire, and BCLS certification. A minimum of 6 months radiology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program.
• 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist preferred.
• ARRT registration required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under direct supervision of a Radiologist.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Preferred
