Job summary

Piedmont Newnan Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. You will produce cross-sectional images to assist in diagnosing and planning treatment for patients of all ages.

The role requires an AMA/JRCERT accredited education and ARRT/BCLS certifications upon hire, with a preference for candidates having 6 months radiologic experience. Join a team dedicated to high-quality patient care in a busy radiology department.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist preferred.
• ARRT registration upon hire; BCLS certification upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Produce cross-sectional images to assist doctors in diagnosis and treatment.
• Provide patient care across all age groups: neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.
