Job summary

A healthcare organization in Atlanta, Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to specialize in using ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic CT examinations under the guidance of a supervising Radiologist and provide comprehensive patient care to all age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. Candidates must have completed an approved Radiologic Technology program and possess at least 6 months of experience as a Radiological Technologist.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
  • 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
  • ARRT Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire.
  • Basic Life Support Upon Hire.

Responsibilities

  • Specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images.
  • Perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations.

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Education
