Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT exams under Radiologist supervision. Responsibilities include imaging across neonatal to geriatric patients and delivering advanced cardiac/vascular CT studies with high-quality cross-sectional anatomy knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program is required.
  • 1 year of CT experience is required.
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered CT, CT certification, and BCLS are required upon hire.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
  • Demonstrate ability to perform advanced CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and ensure quality cross-sectional imaging.

Overview

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Demonstrates ability to perform advance CT imaging (Cardiac and Vascular) and is competent/proficient with cross-sectional anatomy and physiology. Provides more complex technical care necessary to meet identified patient needs.
