Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic computed tomography examinations under radiologist supervision. You will provide patient care across neonatal through geriatric populations in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT certification with a diploma from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program, plus BLS. Preference given to candidates with prior radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).

Responsibilities

• CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations in accordance with prescribed standards under the supervision of a Radiologist.
• Provide patient care across age groups including neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified.PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
