Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of a Radiologist. The role requires ARRT certification and completion of AMA approved Radiologic Technology or JRCERT-accredited training.

Preferred: BLS and 6 months of radiology experience; you will contribute to accurate imaging, patient safety, and efficient care across diverse age groups in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
  • ARRT certification required.

Responsibilities

  • CT Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
  • Provide patient care across neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBLE FOR:Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Certified by the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R).ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified.PREFERRED: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
