Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Georgia invites you to join our Radiology team as a CT Technologist. You will perform diagnostic CT examinations under supervision, ensuring safety and high-quality imaging. Ideal candidates have ARRT registration, BCLS, and at least 6 months radiologic experience; AMA/JRCERT training is required. Embody patient care across all ages.

Qualifications

• Education: AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program.
• Work Experience: 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist.
• Licenses and Certifications: ARRT registration and BCLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists perform diagnostic CT examinations under the supervision of the Radiologist and in accordance with prescribed standards.
• Provide patient care to all age groups from neonatal to geriatrics.
• Maintain safety and quality imaging, following established protocols.

Responsibilities

Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists specialize in using ionizing radiation to produce cross-sectional images to help doctors diagnose and treat patients. CT Technologists perform diagnostic Computerized Tomographic examinations in accordance with all prescribed standards under the direct guidance of the supervising Radiologist. CT Technologists provide patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics.

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program Required

Work Experience

• 6 months experience as a Radiological Technologist Required

Licenses and Certifications

• ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (R) Upon Hire Required and
• BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required
