Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Computed Tomography to join Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. The role requires patient positioning, contrast administration, and strict adherence to radiation safety protocols.

The schedule includes full-time with weekend options (Sat/Sun/Mon 0700-1900). Minimum qualifications include BLS, Indiana radiology credential, and ARRT/NMTCB CT certification requirements, with additional radiology credentials as specified.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 1 month of hire date (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program credential required within 6 months of hire date.

How you'll make an impact in this role

• Observe patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitor protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.

What Minimum Requirements You'll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Indiana Medical Radiology Services Program obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. NMTCB(CT) Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
