Job summary

Responsibilities

• Examines requests and verifies orders with Radiologist before exams.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare and document.
• Interview patients for medical history and review EMR for pertinent data.
• Perform CT scanning and assist Radiologist/PA during invasive procedures.
• Ensure radiation safety and proper sterile technique.
• Rotate shifts and comply with attendance policies.
• Operate radiology computer system and document contrast administration.
• Maintain neat, stocked work area and assist other medical staff.
• Support code blue and emergency responses when required.
