Job summary

MetroHealth’s Radiology Department in Cleveland is seeking a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT imaging and assist with CT-guided procedures. The role requires ARRT certification, CT credential or within one year, and an Ohio radiographer license. Candidates should be able to educate patients and work well with the CT team.

The position offers opportunities for cross-training and working day/evening shifts in a 4x10 schedule, with a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Collaborate with CT team and other care team members to deliver high-quality care.
