Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department. The role involves producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program with ARRT registration and an Ohio Radiographer License; CT credential or within one year. Cross-training available; sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Schedule and coordinate care for inpatients and outpatients.
