MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. The role focuses on producing high-quality CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

The candidate should hold ARRT credentials, be registered in Radiology, and maintain Ohio licensure, with BLS certification. A sign-on bonus is offered for external applicants, and cross-training is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtained within the standard probationary period.

Responsabilités

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.

Formation

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

ARRT Registered Radiology Technologist

ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year

Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)

American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period
