Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Florida seeks a Radiologic Technologist specializing in ultrasound to join the imaging team. The role focuses on performing ultrasound examinations, regulating equipment, and sending images to PACS while maintaining a strong rapport with staff.

The candidate must hold ARRT certifications (CT, R) and applicable radiologic credentials, have at least 1 year of experience, and obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of starting.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• ARRT-R certification required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required.
• Vocational school graduate.
• ARRT-M/MR or CNMT or RDMS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures and detects pathology.
• Regulates ultrasound equipment and sends images to PACS.
• Assists in daily operation of the Ultrasound Department.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures using Ultrasound for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce the ultrasound and sends images to PACS. Assists in the daily operation of the Ultrasound Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
• (ARRT-M) Mammography, or (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• 1 year(s) experience Required
