HCA Florida Palms West Hospital in Loxahatchee Groves, FL is seeking a Radiology Technologist PRN to perform diagnostic radiology procedures, operate the CR unit, and send images to PACS for verification. You will assist in daily radiology department operations and build professional rapport with staff.

Qualifications include BCLS within 30 days, ARRT-R Radiography, RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification, and an Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to expose the x-ray image, knows how to operate the CR unit and sends the image to PACS for verification. Assists in the daily operation of the Radiology Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Associate Degree
