Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Mammography Technician PRN to perform diagnostic imaging using mammography equipment under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor. You will develop and organize films for radiologists and maintain professional rapport with staff.

Required qualifications include ARRT-M in Mammography within 6 months, ARRT-R Radiography, RT Radiologic Technologist credentials, a Vocational School Graduate, and at least one year of experience.

Qualifications

• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-M Mammography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification required.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• One year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures using ionizing radiation to detect pathology.
• Operates mammography equipment and develops films for radiologist review.
• Maintains records and ensures quality image presentation and patient rapport.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates mammography equipment, maintains records, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-M) Mammography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
• One year of experience required
