Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer to perform diagnostic procedures, operate radiology equipment, and prepare films for radiologist review. You will work under the Imaging Supervisor and maintain a professional relationship with staff.

Qualifications include ARDMS RVT or ARRT–Vascular with 6 months grace, OB/Abdomen certification, vocational school graduate, BLS within 30 days, and 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• BCLS within 30 days of start date.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• Must be ARDMS RVT or ARRT – Vascular (6 months Grace).
• Registered and certified with ARDMS in OB or Abdomen.
• 1 year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs technical procedures to detect pathology, evaluate function, or assist in treatment.
• Operates radiology department equipment and develops films for radiologist review.
• Establishes and maintains rapport with co-workers, other departments and Medical Staff.
• Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
• Must be registered in ARDMS RVT or ARRT – Vascular (6 months Grace)
• Registered and certified with the A.R.D.M.S: in OB or Abdomen.
