Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Mammography Technician PRN to operate mammography equipment, handle film development, and prepare images for radiologist evaluation. You will maintain patient records and collaborate with radiology staff in a busy imaging department.

The role requires ARRT-M and ARRT-R credentials, BCLS within 30 days of starting, and a strong teamwork approach under supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• ARRT-M Mammography must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography required.
• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credential required.

Responsibilities

• Operates mammography equipment, maintains records and develops films for presentation to radiologist.
• Establishes and maintains professional relationships with coworkers, other departments and Medical Staff.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Operates mammography equipment, maintains records, and develops and organizes films for presentation to the radiologist. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow co-workers, other departments, and Medical Staff. Works under the supervision of the Imaging Supervisor.

What qualifications you will need:
