Job summary

HCA Florida Palms West Hospital is seeking a Multimodality Tech CT PRN to perform ultrasound procedures, regulate equipment, and provide accurate imaging for PACS review. The role supports daily operations and fosters professional interactions within the Ultrasound Department.

Qualified candidates will have BLS within 30 days, ARRT-CT and ARRT-R certifications, RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer credentials, a vocational school background, and at least 1 year of experience in ultrasound or

• RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer certification.
• Vocational School Graduate.
• ARRT-M or ARRT-MR or CNMT or RDMS certifications desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound procedures to detect pathology.
• Regulate ultrasound equipment and send images to PACS.
• Assist in daily operation of the Ultrasound Department.
• Maintain rapport and professional relationships with staff.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures using Ultrasound for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to produce the ultrasound and sends images to PACS. Assists in the daily operation of the Ultrasound Department. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
• (ARRT-M) Mammography, or (ARRT-MR) Magnetic Resonance Imaging, or (CNMT) Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist, or (RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• 1 year(s) experience Required
