Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of start date.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification or eligibility.
• Certification as RT Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer.
• Graduation from a accredited vocational school or allied health program.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanners in inpatient and outpatient settings to acquire diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients and explain procedures, obtain consent, and ensure patient comfort.
• Produce high-quality images and ensure safety protocols are followed during scanning.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Technologist runs Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scanners in inpatient and/or outpatient settings performing a variety imaging procedures used to diagnose medical conditions. You will operate equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (ARRT-R) Radiography
• (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
• Vocational School Graduate
