Job summary

MetroHealth's Radiology Department seeks a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and support CT-guided procedures. You will coordinate patient scheduling and educate patients to ensure comfort and understanding of procedures.

The role requires critical thinking and strong communication while thriving in a team environment across the care team. You will operate in the Greater Cleveland area, supporting underserved populations and trauma-related imaging with state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• BLS certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist with CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Schedule and coordinate CT patients (inpatients and outpatients).
• Educate patients about procedures and equipment to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians and therapists in patient care.
