Job summary

MetroHealth invites applicants to join the Radiology Department as a CT Technologist, contributing to high-quality CT imaging and patient-centered care for trauma, stroke, cancer, and other conditions in the Northeast Ohio region.

You will perform CT scans, assist with guided procedures, educate patients, and coordinate scheduling for both inpatients and outpatients within a dynamic, cross-disciplinary team environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Radiology Technologist credential required; CT credential preferred or obtained within one year.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in various settings.
• Assist CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations.
• Educate patients about procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other care team members.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
