Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center seeks a CT Technologist for night shifts to produce high-quality CT images and assist with CT guided procedures. Responsibilities include patient education, scheduling coordination, and teamwork within the CT staff.

Required ARRT certifications, Ohio radiographer license, and BLS; a sign-on bonus is available for external applicants. The role supports trauma and diverse patient populations in a Level One center.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT Radiology Technologist certification.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in various settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
