Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join the radiology team. The role involves producing high-quality CT images and supporting CT-guided procedures within a dynamic clinical environment.

Candidates must be ARRT-registered, hold a current Ohio radiographer license, and be BLS certified or obtain it within the probationary period. The position supports an on-site night shift schedule with 60 biweekly hours and a sign-on bonus for external applicants.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication while working under stress.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
