Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a certified CT Technologist for night shifts. The role involves producing CT images, assisting with CT-guided procedures, and coordinating scheduling for inpatients and outpatients.

You will educate patients on procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain comfort and understanding. The ideal candidate has ARRT CT credentials (or within 1 year), an Ohio radiographer license, and BLS certification, with strong communication and teamwork skills to

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License.
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Schedules and coordinates care for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
