Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to produce high-quality CT images and support CT-guided procedures for a diverse patient population in Northeast Ohio.

The role involves patient education, scheduling coordination for inpatients and outpatients, and collaboration with radiologists and nursing staff. Night shifts, cross-training, and a sign-on bonus are included to attract experienced technologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies and tumor ablations.
• Plans patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Demonstrates on-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication under stress.
