Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join the night shift. The role covers 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 5x12 hour schedule every two weeks, with every-other Sunday on-call or coverage.

This position operates within a high-volume trauma and imaging department, supporting CT procedures and patient care. Qualifications include ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT CT credential (or within 1 year), Ohio Radiographer license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.
• Preferred: ARRT CT credential with 1 year CT experience.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assist with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication within the CT team.
