Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Independence Township, OH is seeking a CT radiologic technologist to join our Radiology Department. You will produce high-quality CT images, assist with CT-guided procedures, and start IVs for inpatients and outpatients while coordinating care across the team.

The role includes nights on a 5x12 schedule, 60 biweekly hours, every other Sunday, and a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external applicants. Join a high-impact, patient-centered imaging team at MetroHealth.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• AHA-BLS certification.
• One year CT experience preferred.
• ARRT CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• CT imaging of neuro, MSK, abdominothoracic, and cardiac regions.
• IV starts; CT-guided procedures including biopsies and drain placements.
• Produce quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Schedule and coordinate CT inpatients and outpatients.
• Educate patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations.
• Demonstrate on-the-spot critical thinking and work under stress.
• Collaborate with CT staff, nurses, physicians, and care team.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program

ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist

ARRT CT credential or within one year of employment

Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH)

American Heart Association BLS Certification

Preferred: 1 year CT experience
