Job summary

The MetroHealth System's Radiology Department in Cleveland, OH is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT scanners, acquire diagnostic images, and assist radiologists during procedures. This night shift role requires strong anatomy knowledge, patient care, and teamwork across the care team.

Responsibilities include performing CT imaging, starting IVs, coordinating with patients and other departments, and contributing to a safe, efficient workflow in a high-volume trauma-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within the standard probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assisting with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort.
• On the spot critical thinking.
• Effective communication skills.
• Functions well under stress and with minimal supervision.
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team.
