Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging and support CT-guided procedures. You will collaborate with radiologists and nursing staff to deliver high-quality diagnostic studies.

The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and efficient operation of CT equipment in a fast-paced hospital setting. Nights and biweekly 60-hour shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtain within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• Operates CT equipment safely and efficiently in collaboration with radiologists and nursing staff.
