Job summary

MetroHealth Radiology Department in Cleveland, OH is seeking a CT Technologist for night shifts (5x12hr: 7p–7a) with biweekly 60 hours and every other Sunday. Cross-training available; responsibilities include producing CT images, assisting with procedures, and coordinating scheduling for patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images across a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examinations to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication within the CT team.
• Works well independently and as part of the CT team.
