Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department at the MetroHealth Medical Center in Northeast Ohio. The role supports CT imaging across diverse patient populations, including trauma, stroke, and cancer cases.

Night shifts are 5x12-hour (7 PM–7 AM) with biweekly hours, and on-call duties, including alternating Sundays. Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited radiologic program, ARRT-registered with CT credential or willing to obtain within a year, and Ohio

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT (CT credential or obtain within one year).
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• AHA BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and effective communication while working with CT team.
