Job summary

Advocate Health in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging and assist Radiologists within the CT department. You will verify orders, prepare patients, and document procedures for accurate results.

The role requires ARRT radiology certification with CT registry within one year, and BLS. You will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to ionizing radiation and strict safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine; ARRT CT registry within one year of hire.
• BLS certification is required.
• Graduate from an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and resolve discrepancies with Radiologist.
• Identify patients and explain procedures clearly to aid prep.
• Review EMR for medical history and document requisitions.
• Perform CT scans and assist Radiologist/PA during procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety and sterile technique.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
