Job summary

Advocate Health’s High Point Medical Center in North Carolina seeks a compassionate radiology support professional to assist patients preparing for exams, transport between rooms, and greet visitors, ensuring a smooth patient flow in a fast-paced imaging department.

You will use radiology computer systems to generate requisitions, manage schedules, and coordinate with physicians, radiologists, and technologists, while maintaining rooms, stocking supplies, and performing routine equipment checks

Qualifications

• BLS certification required on hire.
• GED/HSED or HS diploma required.
• No prior experience necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients preparing for exam and transport between rooms.
• Provide basic instructions about routine procedures.
• Organize and prepare exam rooms and maintain equipment.
• Greet patients and respond to routine requests; schedule appointments.
• Act as liaison between physician, radiologist and technologist.
• Provide radiology reports/images to staff and patients on request.
• Document information and communicate patient needs to the health care team.
• Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.
• Assist with MRI implant screening as needed.
