Job summary

MetroHealth is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department in Ohio. You will perform CT imaging, support CT-guided procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort during exams.

Requirements include ARRT registration, Ohio Radiographer License (ODH), and BLS certification, with cross-training opportunities. External applicants may receive a sign-on bonus and day shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• ARRT registered radiology technologist
• ARRT CT credential or within one year of employment
• Ohio Radiographer License (ODH) required
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtain within probationary period

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings
• Assisting with CT Guided Procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients
• Educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain basic understanding and comfort
• On the spot critical thinking
• Effective communication skills
